We enjoy a rotational grazing system of feeding our cattle. In doing this we optiomize the grass available throughout the season. This gives our cows some exercise and makes for absolute better production.

Focus Points of our Farm
Grass Management
We are experts in grass. Using a rotational grazing system we are able to let our grass recover and grow before cows are turned out on it again. We carefully plan our grass input and usage. At a glance our managers can tell you the tonage of grass per acre in any area.
Treating Sick cows & calves
It is a part of life that we all get sick. This is the same for our livestock as well. Should we have any sick cows or calves, we know what to do. If we need help, we have an on call vet that we work with closely to make sure we have healthy cows and calves. We keep any sick cows separated and take daily care of them to ensure they get better quickly.
Calf Rearing
Because we raise our own replacement stock it is important that we maintain their health and well-being consistently through the first years as well as ongoing. Our Kitten Creek Support farm does just that. Our caring staff tends to these babies from birth until they are ready to breed and placed with the big herds at the milking farms.
Making Milk
One of two milking carousels brought in from New Zealand. Our staff is efficient and kind. We usually milk 50 cows at a time as this carousel travels around. Once the cow hits the other end she is done and can go eat, graze, relax, and chew her cud before the afternoon milking begins. Our cattle eat before and after each milking and are just a little spoiled!
